Storytelling is an art of telling stories. It connects people and teaches us about the world, but it can also make us escape the real world. Stories can be told through books, movies, and other media. National Storytelling Week, which is celebrated every year in late January and early February, is a seven-day way to celebrate storytelling in its many forms. It is held in storytelling clubs, theatres, museums, schools, hospitals, and care facilities. In our school National Storytelling Week was celebrated in English language classes. Students were reading, discussing, and writing their own stories.
