My dream job would definitely be to be a professional football player. Actually, I’m not that good at football but I love it so much and I enjoy playing it. It’s a well paid job but I personally wouldn’t play it for money, but for the game.
Football indeed requires a lot of sacrifices, such as moving to another country, leaving your family and potencially your crush. You have to train until the sun goes down, focus on yourself and push yourself to the limits. Any sport requires a lot of traveling, but in football, you basically go around the world every month, if not a week. My favourite club is Bayern Munich from Bundesliga (German first league). It’s such a prestigious club and is a favourite for winning the Champion’s League almost every season. I trained football for 3 years. My position was winger or side midfielder mostly because I had speed, good agility and nice passes, but I was lacking tehnicality.
Football; it hurts and humbles – for evey winner and loser, for every triumph and defeat. But at the end of the day the new horizon awaits , a new season and a new opportunity: for redemption, for glory, for immortality… The pitch will choose the bravest warriors for battle – shoulder to shoulder, face to face. Battles will be fought in the name of glory, in the name of honour, in the name of football. That hunger, that determination to push the limits, to defend, tacle, pass, dribble, score and celebrate. That feeling when the stadium rocks for you is the best. Football is a game of passes and teamwork. There is no space for selfishness. On the field you are not alone. That’s the true beauty of football, and that’s why I love football!
